Once through customs, you can find your transport and head for the beach houses. Both houses are in Yzerfontein which is 80km from the airport and around a good hour's drive.
Head West onto the N2, then north on the N2 and then North on the M7 which turns into the N7. You turn off onto the M14 and follow this for around 5km. You then have a choice to turn onto the R27 which travels up the coast around 1km inshore. Personally, we'll be following the M14 to the coast and then going North with a sea view and smell of the Atlantic wafting through the car windows. The M14 then meets up with the R27 and continues North. Turn off onto Yzerfontein Road and head towards the sleepy fishing village where you will be spending the next week or so gazing out to sea.
Once you hit Yzerfontein, you can then meander through the village and see the sights. Those wanting to get to the houses can follow the road which turns into Main St. Once Main St comes to an end there is a right turn onto Dassen Island Drive. Following this road for around 2km should bring you to either of the two houses.

Anyone wanting to take it easy on the first day can join us sitting on a beach looking over the Atlantic. Strandkombuis is a local seafood restaurant serving fresh fish and local produce.
